Welcome to the home page of the Principality of Northern Lights. The Northern Lights is a Principality under the Kingdom of Blackspire within the realm of Amtgard, centered in western Washington.
The Northern Lights was originally founded on the idea that by grouping the lands in western Washington (Shrouding Mist in Tacoma, Inland Ocean in Seattle, and Greenwood Keep in Olympia), that Kingdom status would be more realistic. Also, the alliance of these lands allowed for a single voice to the Kingdom, better governing of the political issues that arose, and allowed for the northwest lands to communicate and work together more effectively. The hope to obtain Kingdom status is always present and the Northern Lights is thriving in numbers and building a strong internal group structure to achieve its founding goal.

Warlord Sir Damian "Dogboy" Coradren!
Congratulations to Blackspire's newest Knight of the Sword, Warlord Sir Damian Coradren, known more commonly as Dogboy, or now, SIR Dogboy.The knighting took place at the Northern Lights coronation on September 14. Many Knights from around Blackspire made their way to the coronation to bestow their gifts, wisdom, some well placed punches, and of course don't forget the M&Ms! We couldn't be more proud of this Inland Ocean native, way to go Dogboy, you definitely deserve it! |
